Last week our class had a visit from two former students who heard that we had some eggs in our incubator. One of these students I would describe as a local chicken expert! He brought with him a machine that lights up the egg so the class could see if there was a chick developing inside. It was fascinating! We didn't get a chance to test all 24 eggs, but of the 10 we did, we are expecting at least a few baby chicks! These boys plan to come back sometime this week to check on a few more eggs.
