Reading is Like Magic!

Along with Books for Breakfast, I Love to Read Month ended with a visit from magician Bob Miller.  He shared the message that everything he learned about magic came from magic books he started reading when he was a kid.  The students were very entertained and loved each trick he performed!

I Love to Read Month: Guest Reader

A special reader visited our classroom for I Love to Read Month.  It was even more special because it was one of our student's moms!  Thank you Mrs. Holman for visiting and sharing a story with us!

February is I Love to Read Month!

Each Friday of I Love to Read Month has a fun event planned for the students to enjoy a good book.  Friday, February 1st, was Buddy Reading Day.  We met up with Mrs. Peterson's 6th grade class.  It was so fun for the class to buddy up with an older student that they look up to, and I enjoyed seeing old students.  The 6th graders thought that our students were fantastic readers!

On Friday, February 8th, we had an elementary read-in and teacher exchange.  Ms. Zabel visited to share a few stories with our class.
